The BDO account number sample is 001234567891 which consists of 10 or 12 digits. The account number starts with the digit “00” eg 00+1234567891. You can locate your BDO account number in an encrypted PDF which is attached to your welcome email. 

You can also find your account number from the official BDO website, BDO app, checkbook, passbook, and old transaction receipts, visit the BDO branch, or BDO Customer Service. 

In this blog, I will discuss about the difference between the BDO account number and the BDO card number. Furthermore, I will share with you how to locate the account number that is not mentioned on the BDO Card.

Difference Between the BDO Account Number and BDO Card Number

First of all, you must understand the difference between a BDO account number and the BDO card number. Here is the main difference between them. 

BDO Account Number 

The BDO account number represents the 10 or 12 digits that usually start with the “00”. Each BDO depositor or account holder is assigned a unique account number including a Personal or business account like a savings or checking account. 

BDO does not display the account number on its ATM card for security reasons. However, only the ATM and credit card represents the first 5 digit on the Card. 

One thing to remember is that when your BDO card expires, your account number will remain the same. You can use your BDO account number to make bank transfers, deposits, or receive money.

BDO Card Number 

BDO card number consists of 16 digits. The first two digits of MasterCard are “51” or “55” while the Visa Card number usually starts with “4”. The first 6 digits of the ATM card are known as the Bank Identification Number. 

Back assign a unique card number to each. The card number is usually mentioned on your card. However, the card will expire after five years. Therefore, if you have to replace your card after the expiry date then your card number will also change along with your card. 

Furthermore, you can use your BDO Card to pay the bills through a card or also use the ATM card to withdraw money.

How to know my BDO Account Number? 

You can easily know your BDO account number in the following ways. Now, I will share each of the methods with you individually. You can use any of them as per your choice. Let’s start. 

Welcome Email

Check your welcome email from the BDO account. They send you when you open your account. 

• Locate and open your email if available.
• After finding the Email, you open it. 
• You can see the encrypted PDF in the email.
• Download the file and open it. 
• You can check your account number on file.  

BDO Online Banking

You can log in to your bank account with BDO online banking if your bank account is registered. Follow the step-by-step instructions to get your BDO account number.

• Open your browser and go to bdo.com.ph.
• Click on the login and a drop-down menu will appear to select from the personal or business account. 
• Click the BDO online banking.
• Enter your user ID and password and click on login. You will receive a password on your mobile number. 
• Next, copy the password and enter it. 
• If you do not have your mobile number or phone then click on the challenge questions below. 
• Answer the given question. 
• If you answer correctly, your account will be opened successfully. 
• Next, Click on My Account. 
• Again select My Account. 
• A list will appear showing your account number, balance, currency, and other information.

BDO Mobile App

You can use the BDO mobile app to view your account number. Here are the easy instructions to locate the account number. 

• Download the BDO mobile app on your device. 
• Open the app and click on the sign-up. 
• Select the Savings or checking account. 
• Enter your password and user name. 
• Tap on the BDO Pay account. 
• The new screen will appear in front of you, which shows you the available balance, account number, account type, and currency. 

Passbook

One of the easiest ways is that you can check your passbook. Passbook gives you the Bank when you open your savings account. Therefore, check the first page of your passbook, the BDO account number is usually printed here. 

Checkbook

Another way is that you can check your checkbook. Mostly the account number is printed on the checkbook. 

Old Bank receipts

You can also check your old bank transactions or withdraw receipts if you have them. The account number is usually printed on the receipts. If you find the number then copy it in your notebook or any place that is secure for you.

You can also contact them through their Facebook account. Write a message in a great manner and send it on messenger. They will inquire about your account details. Provide them with your account details. 

However, you do not give them your OTP or password. They will inform you back within one day after the process. 

Visit the BDO Branch

One of the best ways, you visit the nearest BDO branch. Provide the required information like your ATM card or valid ID and request the employees to search your account number. They will inform you about your account number after the search.

Be sure to visit the BDO branch during the opening time from Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
