How to set up and activate the DITO Home 5G WiFi?

Follow the following instructions to set up your Home 5G WiFi:

• First of all, unbox your DITO Home 5G WiFi Modem carefully.
• Next, connect the device to the power adapter.
• Plug the switch into your electric outlet. After that, your WiFi modem will automatically turn on with the power indicator lighting up.
• If your 5G WiFi modem does not turn on automatically, find the power button on the modem or device and manually switch the button on.
• Wait until your modem signal indicator LED turns green. That’s it.

How can you change your WiFi password?

If you want to change your Modem/ Router password. Just follow the below-mentioned steps to change your password.

• First, connect your DITO Home 5G Modem to the computer through a LAN (RJ-45) cable while the Wi-Fi router is on.
• Open the Google or Web browser on your computer. Then input “192.168.8.1” on the address bar to connect the Modem device management page.
• On the other hand, if you do not have a LAN cable. Don’t worry you can also reach the Modem device management page wirelessly via a mobile device web browser.
• After entering the code, log in through the username and password of that printer on the Router/ Modem product label.
• Find the settings and enter your new password. Save your new password and exit.
• Now, reconnect your Router and log in again with your new password. You will successfully change your WiFi password.

What should you do if your DITO 5G Home WiFi is Not Working?

If your DITO 5G Home WiFi is not working properly, there is no need to worry about it. Here we will tell you some easy and simple solutions to your problem.

• If your WiFi Modem LED light is red, it means your SIM card is loose. You will take out your SIM card and try putting a thin piece of paper at the back of the SIM Card that will help fit the SIM into the Router slot better.
• If your Modem light is not on or flashes red or yellow, So, you should place the WiFi Modem near the window. However, please keep the Modem away from sources of interference like microwave ovens or any kitchen electronic tools. 
• If you don’t access the internet, restart your WiFi Modem and check if your SIM is activated.
• If you receive a WiFi security certification failure notification, so, first of all, check if the password of your WiFi is correct. Turn off the Wifi on your device and after a few seconds, turn it on.
