How to register the New GOMO SIM?
You can register your GOMO SIM through the GOMO PH app. This is just one method of registration. Service is not available to register GMO SIM through SMS or website. So, I will help you with simple instructions and step-by-step screenshots on how you can register your GOMO SIM through the app.
- First, you download the GOMO PH app on your mobile device.
- Android users download the app through the Play Store, iOS users download the app through the App Store, and Huawei users download the app through the AppGallery.
- After successfully downloading the app, open it.
- Insert your new GOMO SIM into your mobile phone.
- Click on Log in if you have an existing GOMO SIM.
- However, you have registered your new SIM. So, you click on the Activate Your SIM option.
- As soon as you click, a pop-up message will appear confirming that you have inserted the SIM card into the respective phone that you used to register the SIM. So, click on the Got it button.
- Enter your mobile number in the box and click on the Next button.
- You will receive an OTP code as an SMS from GOMO. Copy the code and enter it in the OTP code boxes in 5 minutes. (Click the Resend button if your OTP code expires.)
- After that, the SIM Registration FAQ page will appear. So, read the questions and then click on the Next button and the Create an Account page will appear.
- Now enter your personal details in the respective boxes like Birthday, Full Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Suffix, Nickname, Gender, Email, Confirm Email, and set the 6-digit PIN code and confirm the PIN code. After filling in all the information, click on the Next button.
- On the page, enter your address information, such as house number, street number, village or subdivision, province, city, and barangay, and then click the Next button.
- Then a pop-up message will appear asking for an ID card. Click on the Got it button.
- Select your country and registration type.
- Select your ID card and enter the ID card number in the respective box. Upload a clear photo of your ID card and also upload a selfie. Then click on the Next button.
- A summary page will appear as soon as you click Next, then read the instructions.
- Click the checkbox, and then click Submit.
- You have completed your SIM registration process and will receive a referral code on the next page. Copy your referral code and save it. Click the Next button.
- Next, the email confirmation page will appear. If you have not received your Verification email, then click the Resend button. Then, you will receive a Verification email.
- Go to email and click verify my Email; I’m legit. Your email has been successfully verified so click on log in.
- Now, you can log in to your SIM account to learn about SIM offers.

How to Register the Existing GOMO SIM?
If you have purchased your old SIM number, you do not need to register; they will automatically register it, You can check your information. So, follow several steps.
- Download the GOMO HP app and launch it.
- Click on the login option.
- Enter your phone number and the 6-digit code you entered in the form.
- Click on the login button.
How to Activate the GOMO SIM?
First, you need to register your SIM. Then you can activate your SIM.
- Insert the new GOMO SIM on your mobile.
- Enable access to use the SIM on your mobile.
- Check the network signal or dial a call and send a message to check the activation of your GOMO SIM.
How can I register the GOMO SIM for foreign use?
If you are staying in the Philippines for a visit or tour, GOMO SIM Registration is must. The registration process is the same but the documentation is slightly different.
Required Documents:
- Passport
- Visa details
- Return tickets
- Proof of address or hotel in which they are staying in the Philippines.
Registration Process:
The registration process is similar. So, you can register your SIM through the DITO app. However, you must enter your correct details and foreign documents. Otherwise, the government will take strict action against you. DITO Telecom notifies you via email when you complete the registration process.
How to check the Registration status for GOMO SIM ?
If you are an existing GOMO SIM user, you can check the registration status via the DITO app or text message. Here, I will guide you through checking the registration status. So, follow the instructions.
GOMO App:
- Download the GOMO app on your device and open it.
- Enter your mobile number and password and then press the login button.
- If the next home screen shows you the details, it means your GOMO SIM is already registered. Otherwise, they ask for registration.
Text Message:
- Open the Message app.
- Send a text message Register at 26888.
- You will receive a message about your SIM registration.
USSD Code:
- Open the Phone app.
- Dial *101# and press the call button.
- They will inform you whether your SIM is registered or not.
What is the deadline for GOMO SIM Registration?
When the SIM Registration Act is passed in the Philippines, GOMO Telecom issues a deadline for SIM registration. However, as per current updates as of April 30, 2024, there is no deadline for SIM registration.
However, when you buy a new GOMO SIM, you must check the expiration date. So, register your new GOMO SIM before the expiration date.
Why is your GOMO SIM deactivated?
Your SIM was deactivated due to these reasons.
- If you purchase a new GOMO SIM but do not register it before the expiration date.
- If activating your new GOMO SIM but do not use it for paid transactions within a year, then the company deactivate your SIM.
Note: GOMO will reassign the telecom number if your SIM is permanently deactivated. So, buy a new SIM to use GOMO services. Also, if your GOMO SIM becomes inactive, the company should be notified immediately to reassign the same number.
How do you register more than one GOMO SIM?
You can register another new GOMO SIM with the same process. There is no difference. However, you must provide the correct details and valid documents for identification. Also, you can use your GOMO account for up to 4 GOMO SIMs.
However, you cannot merge your 2 accounts. Furthermore, there is no restriction on purchasing an unlimited GOMO SIM.

What happens if you fail to register your GOMO SIM card?
If you do not register your GOMO SIM before the expiration date, your SIM will be deactivated. So, if you try to register your expired GOMO SIM, you cannot activate it for calls, texts, or internet access. So, you have to buy a new SIM card and then register it for use.
